1950 Mercury KG4 7.5HP Outboard Motor

We recently had an accident with my KG4 7.5HP Mercury Outboard. It actually was being transported by UPS and they dropped it from way high. Problem is the face plate on the power head was cracked (the piece bolted on the power head with eight bolts around the two spark plugs). I know the piece can be welded but I am looking to find someone who my be in the business of selling old engine parts. Any ideas?

Try an ad on the AOMCI site's Webvertise section. The KG4 cylinder cover is similar to that as used on the KE7, KF7 and KG7, so there are quite a few of them out there.
