This is my 1st post. I have a 1944 12ft wooden/canvas Old Town Model H sportboat with oars. I have a choice of two 1950 Mercury outboards: the KF-3 3.5HP (38 lbs) or KF-7 10HP Super 10 Lightning (.62 lbs) Would the 10HP be too much power? Best choice? Thanks.
