I have a 1939 Evinrude Spedr Four, model 7033, that has been in my garage for over 30 years,. The motor was running when I put it in storage. 33.4 HP 4 cylinder.
Spins over freely. I am finally clearing our garage for a Corvette. Is the motor of any value to someone would like to redo it? I could use the space it is taking. Has bronze three blade prop and bronze prop retaining nut. Any information would be appreciated.

Joe

I have decided to keep the motor and re do it with my Grandson. Teach him how to turn a wrench. Anyone know where I can find parts for a Speed Four??? There must be some dealers who part our motors, but I don't know of them.

Thanks

Joe,
Check with the boys over at AOMCI.ORG. They have a free Webvertize section for non-members. Should be some interest overthere. That site has much interest for the antique/classic outboards. Those are big motors and are desireable. The biggest that I have is a Speeditwin 30 C.I. 22.5 HP opposed twin 'bout 1950. Fun motors.
