18HP 1962 Johnson SeaHorse Repair

Hello. I have a 62 Johnson that needs a impeller replaced. I have worked on several Mercury motors before, is this one any harder, and what should I beware of. Thanks for your help in advance. Dave

Remove one bolt from the shift connector inside of the small plate on the side of the exhausing that's retained with two screws.

Remove the lower unit retaining bolts. Drop the lower unit. The water pump will be obvious. Quite easy.
