Re: 18 hp 1964 fastwin

fix it dude, probably less than $50. the coils are easy if you can operate a screwdriver and wrench 2 bolts 4 screws. the fly wheel key is a little tougher. remove center nut. DO NOT PRY ON FLY WHEEL, rent a gear puller that has a bolt in the middle and 3 bolts on the outside. i believe the 3 bolts need to be 1/4x20. thread them into the 3 holes in top of the fly wheel, tighten center bolt to remove fly wheel. get all the parts of the old key out. insert new key and replace fly wheel, by tightening center nut, torgue it down. if it will run and has good compression you have a motor worth 3-500$. right now you have a $50 parts motor. email me some pictures as i could be interested in a parts motor. tashasdaddy@comcast.net. do you have tank?
