18 ft Holiday power question

Locally there is a 18ft Holiday on C-list for sale and it has a 25 hp Johnson and a 29 hp Johnson, 2 strokes same year for the powerhouse, what are your thoughts on how well this will push the boat?

I was thinking after a while i'd upgrade to a single motor, but also wondered how well this would do.

Thanks,
OCS

That does not sound worth the headache. I think I'd want a minumum of 75 horsepower for that boat. It should be rated for at least 125. I'd sell those twins immediately and repower with a singe motor. I have a 90 on my 18' SS and it hit 39MPH with three people and a pretty well stripped out interior.

My thinking too. The guy is selling the package for only $750, so I figured I could get about that for the 2 motors and atleast have a free boat and trailer out of the deal.

If it comes with a trailer....$750 ain't a bad price to get yourself a fabulous outboard Starcraft hull :)
