Last weekend my trip ended abruptly when my Tach. started to go backwards several times around, My trim indicator went up and down as did my gas gauge and every other gauge on my boat. I was out far and the engine never died and my trip home was a intermittent beep from my alarm as it went off and on qickly and not continuous for over 1 hr. What could be my problem? Alternator? Turning off accesories did nothing. 1995 Evinrude 175HP-SLEOM Oceanpro. Also if I use my battery charger that is on my boat should the battery switch always be turned off during this charging period?
