175 200hp omc powerhead interchange

Hello,Would a 1987 200 powerhead fit onto a 1988 175 mid section,and are all of the electronics compatable.The 175 is a crossflow with bubbleback exhaust and I havent gone to see the 200 yet.Thanks

No, sorry. Totally diffferent animal.
You can see/compare for yourself by going to shop.evinrude.com and comparing part numbers.
I started by looking at the midsection P/Ns, and it wasn't long at all til I saw that this p'head swap was not possible.

A looper and a crossflow powerhead won't interchange at all.
