175 2 stroke idle?

For those with fuel flo meters on there 2 stroke engines, what is your fuel flo @ idle?

I just installed one and only idled engine today (will run boat tomorrow), but my new fuel flo was telling me upwards of 2-3gph at idle?

Is this even possible?

Seems rather high to me.

I installed a Floscan last year on my 94 175hp motor and it initially read way high at 3 to 4000 rpm. The trouble shooting section of the manual led me to a suction leak on my fuel shutoff valve. I don't think that I would have found this leak with out the flow meter. It now reads 11 to 12 gph at 3500 rpm, which I think is more in the ball park. I have not had an opportunity to calibrate it per the instructions yet. My meter does fluctuate from 2 to 3 gph at idle in gear so I think you are probably okay.
Well at least until you pull up at the gas pump.
