165HP L6, help me find guide to re-route water thru manifold

Back in 2009 I ran across a step by step writeup on how to reroute the water flow to prevent it from cracking. I cannot find it, and did not save it. I am interested in doing this to my 165.

reroute the water flow to prevent it from cracking

you mean to prevent the block/manifold from cracking??

water flow does not cause cracking, only extreme heat/freezing water does

I pipe my water from the drive pump to the front of manifold,out of the back of man to t/stat housing,thru motor out to the riser 165-L6 runs well
