165HP Inline Six 2GC Carburetor. Need acceleration pump / power pump......

Carb is very clean and nice thoughout, but has classic symptom of a bad acceleration pump, which merc is calling a power pump. Anyone have a part number or know where I can source just this plunger? I do not want to buy a master kit as the carb does NOT need rebuilt. Runs fantastic otherwise.

or here on iboats??

classic symptom?? if you disconnect the throttle cable and pump the throttle by hand, do you see fuel squirting down the throats??

Yes, but not like the 2GC carb on my previous 4 cyl.

You may be able to get the part from NAPA or a local carb shop. If it is a 2gc and not a mercarb (one idle mix screw not 2).

Its a rochester carb with two idle mix screws.
