I recently purchased a 94 Stratos 264V.The boat had never been in the water. It had been stored scince it was new.It had never been rigged with a engine either. The sticker says max.horse power is 120, so I bought a brand new Johnson 120 2stroke outboard and slapped it on.No jackplate. Also I got a 21pitch s.s. prop on it.The boat only weighs 1000lbs.So it hauls the mail pretty good, but at 62mph it starts to chine walk really bad and is hard to hold on to.Thats at full throtle, but only trimed less then 3/4 of the way up.My question is what can I do to get this thing to the max.without loosing control?
