I have a older 16' cuddy with no engine (see pic), I know someone selling a 2008 suzuki df40 for $4,000 with a boat & trailer (14' which I have no use for, vintage 1959 mint though)
The df40 has under 30 hours on it.
I fish, that's all I do, how well would I expect this 40hp to perform? Boat is probably under 1,000lb I imagine, I took it across the scale and it said 600kg, that's with the trailer....but yeah I don't know the exact weight....
Just curious on my top speed, if its even possible to estimate it. I don't know the max for this boat, as the original paperwork and the badge are missing. Don't know the year, or the weight, or the max hp or anything about it at all
