Just bought a 2001 15hp yamaha tiller manual start. Was wondering if anyone knows if the two wire coming from under the flywheel is for the alternator? If so do i need a rectifer?..
I'm wondering the same thing. I have a 25HP Yamaha that has the same two wires. I plugged my Fluke meter up to them one time and the voltage appears to be about right. It would be nice to be able to charge a battery with the motor if I could. <br /><br />Hope you find out something.
