15HP Yamaha, 2017 era, any known weaknesses?

I may be checking out a used 2017 Yamaha 15HP this weekend, can anyone fill me in on any potential weaknesses on this particular motor that I should look for? It is on a 12' boat that is used in salt.

Well it's not American made but then what is....

Fine motor really just look for signs of misuse. (Salt damage, greased fittings, paint sun damage )

To bad it's not a two stroke!

Don’t think so as long as it’s changed before it’s recommended interval.
A timing belt on any marine engine can be a liability, I think. Better without them at all. But as long as it’s kept in service, should be ok.
