posting for a friend, model # is 15EL76A. I think its a evinrude 1976-15 hp. but not sure,could anyone tell me the year and shaft lenght? thanks

20 inch 15 HP 1976 by the numbers.If it doesn't add up,it may have been modified thru the years.<br /><br />DHP

thanks, my buddy is a moron. he bought it new, but forgot what year...duh. pull cord is broke ,I think I can fix. thanks all
