15hp Merc, Oil leaking at prop

When I store my 15hp Merc standing up I get a little puddle of oil which seems to be leaking past the prop shaft. <br />I don't have a manual, can someone direct me to a website showing how to fix this and also change the impeller while I have it apart?<br />I imagine there's a leaking O ring or something on the propeller shaft?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Will

have you checked the oil level in the gear case? it may not actually be leaking oil, but exhaust or something...<br />Andrew

If the leaking is coming from the gearcase, you will eventually have a large puddle.<br /><br />Have you recently fogged the engine? Or do you troll often?<br /><br />TMD

I'm not sure what fogging is, I don't think I've done it though. <br /><br />I never troll, use it from a to b then row.<br /><br />I never thought whatever it is could just be leaking down from the exhaust, maybe my problem isn't so bad¿ <br /><br />I'd still like to do the impeller though.<br /><br />PS<br />How long has their been different forums for Merc, OMC etc?
