15hp force carb trouble

I have a 1991 15hp force. I was having trouble with it running propperly when i first start it up and put it under load at WOT it runs out fine then after 2 or 3 mins. it starts to surge like its getting fuel and then not getting fuel when i squeeze the primer bulb it seems to smooth out a little if i slow to idle then go to WOT again it seems to bogg very bad to the point where it quits . when i restart the motor it boggs still in neutral after a minute or 2 it picks up rpm so i was wanting to know if this was a carb problem (maybe Float sticking) or a possible ignition problem. I already replaced fuel pump and still no change........Any help please???

Carb or fuel pump.

Or, a small leak in the fuel line, allowing it to suck in air.

I thought the same thing and replaced everything from tank to motor it seems to run just fine in a test tank but i know from experiance, that doesn't mean much

Just to add a little info and if its even relevant today i replaced my champion plugs for NGK if that matters and i firmed up the primer bulb while doing this I also worked the warm up lever (choke) back and forth and i noticed fuel puddling up at the mouth of the carb. Would this mean a float problem?????

float of needle valve problem.

Rebuilding it certainly won't hurt anything, and hopefully will solve the problem.

I have already re-built the carb and also installed a new float but the float i purchased did not look just like the origanal so that may be it, But then again (I rebuilt it ) LOL....

I thought this was going to be a helpful forum,boy was i wrong...guess I'll hire a professional.out of the 60 people that viewed this only one person took the time to reply so thanks alot
