Bought lightly used 15hp force motor last year - 152F9D ('89 guessing). Tested with muffs and ran fine (didn't think about hose pressure). Got to lake and overheated engine a few times (cooled down, overheat, cooled down, overheated) - towed rest of way. Needed new impellor I learned - and now know that is a biannual repair.

Excited that I have time to use boat and motor this year - installed new impellor today, checked fuel system, and no start. Can't seem to get a spark or turn over. I've disconnected the two kill switches, removed the flywheel and checked magnets, tested kill switch wires for connectivity, amateur tested to see if any change on DCV meter at plug wire when pulling cord and got a 5v response if that means anything, and checked the spark plugs in a Ski Doo to see if they sparked there and they did.

Any idea what may be wrong - how to diagnose? How do the blue plastic boxes inside the magnets below the flywheel work/respond to the magnet on the flywheel? Any idea what could get damaged in the electrical system during overheating?
