15ft Whaler Rage Jet Boat

I need some good advice please<br /><br />I've been reading this wonderful forum, and can verify everything said about the Rage Jet Boat.<br /><br />It seems that one of my cyclnders has 40% compression. do you think it will be ok to start it and keep the battery charged? she still gets up on plane wonderfully. I would not have discovered this problem, but i had a man check her because she is hard to start?<br /><br />Please let me know what you think?<br /><br />Kitty

I would remove the head and check for blown head gasket, or broke ring, running the engine may cause more damage to block. Cost more to repair. I also think the Rage is a realy neat boat, dau has a fling with a 115.
