i am looking at a 1986 phantom prowler 17ft boat with a 150hp johnson with a jack plate how fast will it go

A lot depends on the design of the hull. Deep Vee hulls are slower than flatter hulls. What does the boat weigh?

A normal 17' runabout - type boat with that power would hit mid 40s.

its a flat hull i hade a 17ft ranger 115hp it wood do 45 17ft flat hull with a 150hp i think be faster
