Hi,
Had trimmed my motor all the way up today (near horizontal) as was cleaning the surfaces of the boat because I moor it. Was like this for a few hours. When I put the motor back down and went to head back to the marina boat would only do 4200RPM instead of the regular 5000RPM, and at lower RPMS (about 2000) seemed to be running a little rough. At idle was about 650RPM as per normal. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Didn't have a lot of time to troubleshoot it as had to head home. Throttle cable looks fine. Was wondering if it's possible that from being tilted up any water in the water separator could have made its way into the fuel line? However, was several kilometers to get back to the marina so I would think any water in the system would have cleared by then. Almost seems to me as though one plug not firing maybe, don't see how it would have become fouled just from having the motor tilted up like that, unless just a coincidence in the timing. Seems to run rough at lower RPMS, but when WOT at 4200rpm doesn't sound bad at all. Seemed like it would stay about 4200rpm WOT then once in a while jump to 4400rpm or so. I know I've definitely got some more obvious troubleshooting left to do, but won't be able to go back out until Monday, was hoping that someone might have had a similar experience like this before or some insight. Thanks.
