150 merc tilt-trim

Trying to get motor in trailer tow position <up> What can i trouble shoot?? Thanks Wont budge

Had the same problem last year. Try tapping (lightly) on the trim motor, while some one trips the up switch. this is just a temporary fix, wound up taking mine out and having it cleaned up and resoldered($40) as opposed to a $500 new one. Good luck. Its a poor design having that electric motor in the water all the time

SEarenity i will try your idea, my motor and pump sit up out of water 208 grady,above bilge

If you mean the T/T motor is inside the boat,check the plug in connector on the side of the pump.

Clanton you mean that 3 prong plug about 1 inch dia rubber coated thanks

Guys motor is now working ,Dont ask me what i did ??? Moved battery switch back -forth dozen times cleaned 3 prong plug ,jiggle couple wires . Maybe got lucky thanks for help
