150 Johnson FastStrike Thermostat Replacement

I have a 1994 Johnson FastStrike 150 that still has the original thermostats in it and think it is time to replace them. Does anyone know what part numbers I need to purchase to do this replacement? Is there a thermostat kit?

The only time you really need to replace the thermostats are if you have a head running too cold or hot. Once the motor gets past 1800 rpm the stat is lifted off its seat and the motor gets full cooling from the water pump. Generally the water pump is the terminal item that should be replaced or checked every year. However, there is no thermostat kit and the part number for the stat is 435491.

If your interested, the part number for the water pump kit is 435929.
