150 Efi No Power Under Load

I have a 97 Efi 150 motor idles fairly normal but when you tromp it it runs up to 2000 RPM and no further forget about getting on plane. After this occurs the bulb is soft. Is it the check valve? I just had this boat serviced and tuned up and it ran great one time out now blah. Made for a crappy tournament.lol

Try running the motor on a remote tank and see if the problem goes away as you may have a sticking anti-syphon valve on your inboard fuel tank. By the way what got done at the last service.

Fuel pressure testing,timing checked, Replaced a high pressure hose fitting that was kinked.Compression was also checked. Boat had seemed to lose 6-8 mph and 600 rpm or more when It was running recently and now this. I'm leaning to the primer bulb check valve assembly. It is a quicksilver DI 13
