Need help with 15 hp mariner serial number to get yr of motor
Serial number is 15c 684cs000765.
Needing parts and not sure if the information I found is correct. Is 1978 yr even close?

your serial range falls under there disregard the cs

Yes 1978 is close enough using the charts as the model number 7015209 shows it to be a 1979. Here's a parts catalog for this engine model, http://www.iboats.com/MARINER-15C-19...iew_id.1695823

Weird it was mercurymarine.com public website. I blame cookies haha
