15 hp Johnson Head Tourque

Well I got my 9.5 running now I need a little help here on a 1953 15 hp Johnson. I need the tourque lb's and the sequence of tightening.

Okay, I looked threw some old posts and found that someone mentioned 18 to 20 lbs. I guess that is what I will do.

I would be careful of that. The closest I have is a '56 15hp and the torque is 8-10 ft/lbs. With numbers that low, you'll need to do it with an inch-lb reading torque wrench.
