Son in law has this engine. It runs fine, plenty of power etc. Problem is,when cutting back on throttle, the motor instantly goes to almost idle speed, keeps running fine, and when cranked back on will immediately accelerate again and keep running fine. I don't think this is normal and it should decelerate smoothly. Can anybody give me any info on this problem, maybe fuel or electrial, or is it just old and wearing out?
