15 hp gamefisher

[help me]

I have a 1990 or 1991 15 hp gamefisher and it seems to be not pumping water. I was wondering were the water comes out on this motor if it is being pumped. I know that there are 3 holes. 1 in the foot of the motor and 2 in the leg of the motor. Also is common for the impeller to go out on these motors? <br />thank, <br /> Daniel

Start by taking off the black plastic tstat cover below the motor cover on the leg.2 screws and take note of how the stat comes out.It is spring loaded.Try motor w/o stat in .Impeller should be replaced if no water is coming out of tstat housing.

It also is a good Idea to replace the impeller if it hasn't been replaced in a few years, or its history is unknown. Cheaper than having to rebuild your motor.
