You can do about 64 before you can't control it anymore. (Chine walk.)

give it some more prop then you wont have any more chine in the water to chine walk with.
Or just put on outboard hydrofoils as i did

Bob's 'True Tracker' helps. Hydraulic steering helped a lot. What I really need is a jackplate. 3" setback would be perfect.

Funny, I got almost the same setup last year. A little 1400SS sidewinder with a 78 140 currently getting rebuilt. We were getting mid 70's before the rings gave out.
