131 with pertronix kit correct wiring

hi 88 volvo 131 pertronix kit guy has it wired red wire dist to purple wire and black wire hooked to pos term on coil .has gray and a purple wire hooked to neg coillead. is this wright,

Hmm something is wired wrong.Someone may have changed the colors along the way.Purple is on the + of the coil

thanks for the help.just tried it red and purle wire to coil pos terminal.black from module and factoory tied together gray and purple to neg coil lead.hit key smoke rolled out of dist cap module shorted out,but dont now why .hooked up like told any ideals .thanks
