A friend of mine just bought a 1986 13' Boston Whaler super sport, and the trailer that came with it was not set up right! As it I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a similar setup so I can get an idea of where to stat...

Re: 13' Whaler..trailer setup

Because of the way the hull is constructed, the best set up for a Boston Whaler is a keel roller trailer, with bunks to balance, but not take a lot of load.

Position the winch stand so that when she is fully winched in the transom sits right on the last roller and the ends of the bunks.

Position the axle/spring/fender assemblies so that about 7%-10% of the weight is on the hitch. With a 13SS with a 40hp engine that should be about 70-80lb.

Good luck. :)

JB: Sometimes when I'm trolling around the forums I find answers to questions I didn't know to ask. Thanks for the info. I think my trailer meets your specs, but will double check.
