120hp merc inboard (to140)

A friend of mine is wondering how or what is involed in changing this to a 140hp.Any help would be helpful.<br />Thanks <br />Sterling. <br />Sorry guys wrong forum.Its been awhile since ive been here.

I did this. My 120 had a crack. I found a 140 from about the same year so it dropped right in. I used the same manifold. I think there are different heads used on older and newer motors. Someone else may be able to clear this up. I had a 1984 and bought a 1986 motor. Hope this helps.
