Re: 120 Omc

While on the topic of 120 OMC's, I'm pulling my 1979 120 OMC and was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to separate the engine from the drive. Is it like an auto engine with a flywheel bolted to the drive somehow. This will be my first marine engine pull, so I'm looking for a little expert advice.<br />Thanks

Re: 120 Omc

Thanks people for the input. I've just pulled this 18' Winner Wildcat out of the bush and I want to pull the engine to check the internals before I go any farther. Once I know the engine has compression and will run I shall buy a manual. Up to now the only engines I've had experience with are Chev 350's and motorcycle engines. Once I know the proper way to go about this I should be okay. Thanks again.
