I have an old Fiberform I/O boat with a 120 HP MerCruiser 4 cyl GM Chevy engine (pic attached). It's old and runs well, and I took it to get winterized last winter at a shop that is about 30 miles from me. I don't know much about boats so bare with me here... The shop left 2 screw ends (see attachment) -- they are like fasteners that screw on the end of something -- in a baggie attached to my steering wheel. I now am in a rush to sell the boat as I need to move across country unexpectedly and I can't take it back to the shop as I don't have time or means and the shop will not tell me where the screw ends go and won't help me over the phone. First part of my question is - where would these two fasteners go? And second part of my question is, if I were to find where they go, would there be anything else I need to do to "dewinterize" the boat and have it ready to sell? I guess a third part of my question is I bought one of these (see link attached below) thinking I could run my boat with the hose to show people interested in buying it that it does run... but I can't seem to figure out how it works. Perhaps I need a different type of hose adapter for mine?? Thoughts.. help please? I am pretty desperate.

there called ear muffs and go over the water inlet holes in the lower unit. make sure you have enough water or you`ll burn the impeller out. the plugs normally go on the port side of the motor just above the oil pan for the larger one and the small one in the bottom of the exaust manifold. If you were to apply the muffs and start the motor you see the water squirting out of the holes

On my 120hp there was one like the petcock and where the elbow is on the engine pictured above. I had the square shaped elbow though. It faced forward and toward port on the engine side of the elbow. Also make sure you check the water pump hoses are attached on the front of the motor.
