I have a 1990 120 HP johnson V4 variable rate oil outboard that will not hold any given rpm. It migrates to about 4000 rpm. <br /><br />I do alot of skiing and 4000 rpm ends up 30+ mph... I'd like to settle in at 25 mph, but it migrates to 30+ mph.<br /><br />Is there anything wrong? or do I have something setup incorrectly? Any suggestions would be great.
