12 v light bulb - Why can't I find this one?

The dome lights that I just added to the hard top project have a wedge base style bulb in them. The website lists the bulb as a "1411" and the bulb has "931" stamped on it. But I can't find a 1411 or 931 bulb listed anywhere!!!

What I want to do is replace these incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs. The problem is finding an LED that has the same base. The bulb looks like an oversize 194. With about a 1/2" wide glass wedge base, and a glass bulb the size of a 1157, it reminds me of something I saw in third brake lights not too long ago.

So what is another bulb number with this glass wedge base so I can order a LED with a matching base?

PS, I really don't want to go installing new bases in the dome lights, it would be nice to just get the right bulbs.

The base description is "mineature wedge" or "WB3.25"
a 194 is wedge base, T3 1/4 bulb shape.

Try bulb 906 wedge base, T5 shape.

Hope it helps

found a really neat light at shop-rite,Wharton, its a led, eyeball, swivels, and detaches off its bracket, which can be screwed up, or will attach by magnet, works off 3 aa batteries, and has a motion detector, and light sensor. for 9 bucks, and is the size of a base ball by sylvania. e11947

Ok, I figured it out. The number on the bulb is 921, not 931 (duh). So its a t15 wedge base, and there are lots of those to choose from in LED. Thanks for the links to the led retailers.

man...I came late to the party..lol
T15 is the bulb shape, fyi.....

These were used extensively for the sign industry back in the day, for message centers (time and display) and 2 tone mono chromatic signs..Some of those old sign boards used up to 50,000 of these puppies..
