115hp Yamaha issue

I have a 1987 Yamaha 115hp that recently had carburetor rebuilt and was running great for about a month. Recently it has begun to spit and cough at idle when it warms up. I'm thinking either it is running lean or the plugs may be a little fouled. Does anyone else have any other thoughts or suggestions?
