I have a 2006 115hp 2 stroke 4 cylinder mercury. It starts great, idles fine, runs good at lower rpm. It will not run as fast as it use to about 5-6 miles per hour less. It seems to bog down if I floor it and runs funny at top speed input. Carbs are clean. Feeder hose from tank to engine replaced and the bulb pump. New plugs put in. This helped a little but still not right. I only run 100% gas. Any suggestions from experience?

Do this in a safe place on the water. Try having somebody squeeze/pump the primer bulb when it "runs funny" or bogs down. If that helps, then check or rebuild the fuel pump.

I did that and watched the fuel pump. I read an article that said the caskets wear out. Sure enough there was a small amount of gas sprinkeling out every time I pressed the fuel pump. Glad I found it. The boat runs strong again. However, I still do not seem to have the top speed I use to have???

If the engine ran lean because of the lack of Fuel, you may have mechanical problems.
Compression Test
Check for a Spark that can jump a 3/8" gap

I do have a manual. I have not checked the linkages. Can you elaborate. Explain. It has spark and good compression.
