My 1974 1150 dies when throttle over 40%,...its an old motor ive been working on I know a lot... If anyone wants to help me trouble shoot,.. Start asking questions....

Could be a wire shorting to ground or or opening when linkage moves the distributor. Could be a fuel problem, dirty carbs, stuck floats, misadjusted fuel level, plugged fuel filters, leaking fuel line, bad fuel pump(s)

"Dies when throttle over 40%". You mean period, when the throttle goes over? Or only when you accelerate fast? Or no matter if you accelerate fast or slow?
