115 Yam limp mode.

Yamaha 115 4 stroke. 2001 ​

Turn the key on and an alarm comes on and doesn't go away. ​

Not over heated. Cold motor. New impeller.​

Starts but goes into limp mode?? what to check?​

Oil level be a good start.

Owner called and said a bigger problem has arrived.
Leaking oil, a lot of oil???
Gonna take a look today.

The lower crank seal went.
Ordered new parts.
