115 johnson vs 85 johnson weight

does anybody know how much a 1978 115 v-4 johnson weighs?<br />how about a 1978 85 hp johnson?<br />Why?.....i want to put a 115 on my 78 Stryker bass boat to replace the 73 50 hp rude i have on it now and dont know if it will be too heavy for it. the boat came out with a 85hp johnson.<br />50 hp just dont get me to the fishin hole fast enough!!<br />

Yeah. 1979 is 136,5 kgs = 300.9825 lbs - long leg.<br /><br />BTW it's 81.3 kw, WOT is 45-5500, volume is 1.632 litre, gear ratio is 13:26.<br /><br />Specs are for 85, 100, 115 and 140 of that year though the weight differs (130.6 kgs - 140.6 kgs)
