When I give the motor throttle, in neutral , it bucks like a weird jerking back and forth, It revs high and low in short bursts. It idles fine, only bucks when i give it juice. Have not tried this in the water.
Now, I did remove the oil injection parts. Don't know if this could cause this. Looks more a safety thing, but this is first I every since this.

Welcome to Iboats,

OB's should not be tested on barrels, muffs at neutral & high rpm, go for a wot spin for some minutes once combo is on water, check neutral/idle behaviour. Why was the auto oiling removed ?

Assuming your model is M115A2 (year is irrelevant).

The auto oiling system is very reliable, and conserves oil, plus extends plug life. Unless there has been a catastrophic failure, it is preferred to running pre-mix fuel.

No way to diagnose your symptoms when not under load. Running too fast without load can destroy the motor. Try it with the oiling system running, and on the boat in the water, and see how it runs. Are there any warning lights or horns?

Thanks for the info. Hoping to see if this was sometime common or a safety thing with the electronics. I'm old school pre-mix it myself. No warning lights or horns. Now I'm a northeast'ner will drop this puppy under load in April. Thanks again for the help
