I have read the posts about this that others have posted but I didn't see anything that helped me.
I have a 77 chrysler 105 model # 1057hc serial#4570

It will not fire.

I only get spark when I push the Key in and turn it a click. When I crank it there is no spark at all from the coil or the plugs. I pulled the distributer cap off located the points they do seem a bit corroded, also the rotor looked kinda like it has a crack in it. I am going to replace the rotor shaft and the points and see what happens.

I had read that I can convert it to a regular automotive coil set up and get rid of the cdi unit. Ho is this done?
seems to me that it would be a lot more reliable and easier.
Thanks a lot!!
