iI have a 100 HP merc on a small speed boat. this weekend at the lake I was tooling along for about 30 -40 minutes when suddenly the engine just shut off. no stumble, no sign of trouble nothing. Wife actually thought I just shut it off. triied to restart turns over strong, mess with fast idle,choke, let it sit for 20min etc etc. Nothing! never refired had to be towed in. (that always sucks) i was wondering if this is a common sign of a certain problem or if I just have to start at A and end with Z.
Any help would be appreciated.
