1 more question. caged pin bearings, or loose bearings

my local marina gave me 4 caged piston pin bearins for my 1989 evinrude v-4 crossflow.my original bearins are idividual bearings. are the cage bearings ok to use? it seems as there are a lot less of them than the idividual type? and will they live as long not having as many?

OMC used the caged style and then went to the loose style then back to the caged. The caged are stronger and way easier to work with.<br /><br />Good luck!
