09 HPDI 225 3K RPM's in Forward

Will not REV above 3K rpms going forward on 4 cylinders, but will run on all 6 in reverse and rev.
My Mechanics software bit the dust waiting on replacement. Already replaced Throttle position switch and neutral safety switch. Any ideas on what it may be.

motor probably thinks it is still in neutral when in forward

Maybe one of the new switches are bad.

switch, adjustment, or wiring maybe
the softwear will be able to tell what is or is not happening.
need to know the rail pressure is in spec also.

takes more fuel to make it go when loaded up in forward in the water, but that should not drop cylinders unless injectors are not doing what they should be

Should it run on 6 and rev up in Reverse if fuel pressure is dropping?
