have a 2007 trophy 2359 and may be getting water into the fuel system some how, like maybe through the fuel cap. Also had water leaking from the anchor well through the bulk head an into the cabin. Seems like the anchor well had pin holes aswell as the drain hole may have been slightly off when drilled and leaking water into the cavity below it and then letting water into the cabin through some screw holes in the bulk head. Any one have any similar experiences. Fixed the well problem myself with epoxy , should have warrantied it , but more so with fuel getting into the tank.

Yup I have the same boat same year your fuel filler cap has been recalled.I pulled 80 liters of water out of my tank twice. One was when I first bought the boat the first time it got wet I could not make it to the dock. The second was over winter of 2007 the dealer had my boat for 6 months.I took it home and it would not start again I pulled out 80 liters from the tanks only this time I recorded it.needless to say all they would do it a full tune up cause nothing was wrong.I told them my motor would blow up eventually and well in 2008 there it went lol it melted from the inside out.I too have water leaks in areas I should not have and all the dealers are useless.

Hey Korossis , Thanks for the reply.

What exactly is the recall . My cap is a perko I believe , and the cap itself had no rubber gasket. I hope this is where the water has been getting in. I just replaced the gasket. When I first had 15 liters pumped out of the tank until it was just cleaning looking gas being pumped out. It rad for a few sea trials the bogged the water/fuel filter down. Had the tank pumped again but did not get much water out so installed racor with drain bowl. Boat ran for 20 min sea trial and had water in the racor. We decided there was just a little water left and to just keep a close eye on the racor and keep draining it off. Seemed like this was working as at first could not drive more than 20 min before draining water. Was soon able to go half day or so , then full day then 2 days on the water which was too much. Things were clearing up until a good rain storm when I seemed to get more water rather quickly. This time I took the carb and had it cleaned , there was water in it and some gunk build up. This is when I replaced fuel cap gasket . Have been running lots over the last week , goes great with the clean carb . Still getting some water through the racor but hope it s just some left over but just ran 2 good days of running around salmon fishing and had some pretty good build up , even had to drain off main filter . It seems like it improving though. Do you think it was just he gasket. What was the fix for you. When you say rear roof leak do you mean water leaking into the glove compartment above the sink on the inside roof. We had that and fixed it as the water was entering through a poorly sealed clam shell where the antenna wire came through for the radio. Any more info would be very heplful. Today I had the alarm which goes on when you have the key in the ignition stay on after I started and was running. Boat was running perfect , oil pressure ans temp. Do you no what the alarm could be seemed to go on and off like a loose wire . Otherwise I like the boat as its a big step up from the old one. There are things that are cheap and bother me though.

Came Across this again , my boat is fuel injected . The alarm is your drive lube warning it means its low you should add some. What items you find cheap?

Hey korossis, the OP hasn't been active since 5/2/12. Per forum rules, the OP needs to reopen this thread since it's over 90 days old. Probably should let this one die......
