Hi all, i currently use a tiller and would like to put a steering wheel with throttle. How hard is it and what tools do i need to buy to make this happen? Thanks in advance

It is a lot of money if you do it with mercury parts. If you want electric start and choke, (a solenoid on my 05) plus controls and cables it is about $1000. I did mine for very little, but I had the old gale remote and the tiller motor came with a starter. I also had a machine shop at my disposal. My conversion allowed me to still use the original tiller controls if needed. Be aware that a bad hook up that fails can be deadly! I can dig up some pics if you like.

I run my 15 on an inflatable that i take apart after every trip. I am moving to florida in 2 weeks. I am buying a trailer where my boat will be 100% trailered and never deflated (hard wood floor on my boat) so i was wondering what is the best way to boat comfortably. After a day og manning the tiller i am exhausted so i figured if i can hook up a small framed console with steering and throttle i can enjoy my trips a little more
