05' Johnson 150 throttle

I have a question about my Johnson 150. When I manually put the throttle arm in WOT and I manually move the cam roller, I get about a 3/16" gap between the cam on the throttle rod and the cam roller on the throttle linkage. Does this mean the throttle plates aren't fully opening? Is the cam worn perhaps?

On most outboards there is / should be a gap between roller and cam.----Model # of your motor.
